Discerning drivers in Knutsford enjoyed an evening of sophisticated style at Bentley Manchester to mark the launch of the outstanding new Continental GTC.
One hundred hand-selected VIPs including footballer Sylvain Distin joined Bentley Manchester on Friday 7 October for the glittering occasion at the dealership’s showroom in Knutsford.
Managing Director, Jon Crossley said: “With the new Continental GTC taking centre stage, we combined the classic, flamboyant and contemporary to create an extraordinary event to demonstrate Bentley’s commitment to ‘style with substance’.
“Guests were able to admire a collection of six specially-commissioned works of art, inspired by the GTC, and marvel at an exquisite light installation, designed by renowned light sculptor Bruce Munro.
“It was a fabulous evening and everyone had tremendous fun.”
The new Continental GTC was officially launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. The potent performance, unrestrained luxury and advanced technology of the new Continental GTC have made it one of Bentley’s most eagerly awaited cars. Sharpened, refined and rethought in every detail, the Continental GTC is a simple and progressive interpretation of Bentley’s timeless design philosophy that promises an extraordinary open-top experience.
Drinks during the launch event were provided by one of the world’s oldest Champagne houses, Ruinart, and were served in the finest crystal glasses made by Riedel. Even the hostesses were crowned by spectacular hats, created specifically for Bentley by famous milliner Philip Treacy.
Jon Crossley said the evening was a huge success: “We had a wonderful evening and we are now looking forward to showing more of our clients this stunning vehicle.”
